No, I am not dead! But the people who I research are, so I thought that this photo would be a fitting tribute to them. In case you haven't guessed, I'm a genealogist. I have been researching my family history for over 25 years and I have begun the massive project of creating a web site where I can publish my work.

Grind!

Over the last few weeks I've noticed that my spirit and enthusiasm have not diminished, but the time I can devote to things has. I won't bore you with details, since we are all busy and everyone understands. But I think I need to regroup by doing a couple of things.

The October Update that I was planning to have it out by October 20th has been moved. I had originally planned to move the monthly update a little earlier each month until it came out at the beginning of the month. If I had stuck to this plan, November's update would have come around the 15th, December's around the 10th, etc. I have decided to just do the November update this week and expedite the process. Updates will now come the first week of each month, with the occasional missed month. This means that there will not be an October Update. We will just go straight to November.

This week's update will include the conclusion to the piece on Thomas and Anna Downs. I also hope to have the site map up and running. The Cousin Game will be changed in it's format, but that will be part of the December Update.

The Cousin Game has not recieved any real attention as far as I can tell. What I plan to do is fix it so it can be played instantly, while you sit at the computer. Any input on exactly how it could be played will be greatly appreciated. Give me the idea, and I'll figure out the programimg.

Hope Everyone is Well,

Bill
